Biography

René was born in 1692 to Charles Babin and Madeleine Elizabeth Richard in the parish of St Charles aux Mines.[1][2] He is living with his family in Minas, at the age of one year, at the time of the 1693 Acadian census.[3]

He wed Isabelle Gotrot at St Charles aux Mines on 26 November 1714.[4] [5]
