Research Notes

Previous versions of this profile provided conflicting accounts of certain aspects of Catherine's life.

According to one, she was born in Germany and emigrated to Pennsylvania with her parents. By another, she was born in Coopersburg, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania.

Her place of death was given as Hanover, Pennsylvania in one version and as Skippack, Lower Salford Twp., Montgomery Co., Pennsylvania in another.

Currently we lack sufficient sources for resolution of these differences. (While Find a Grave may be cited for some of this information, as of this writing, no sources are provided in the Find a Grave memorials.)

Bachmann-106 and Bachman-23 appear to represent the same person because: Obviously the same person- only discrepancy is variation in the spelling of the first name and 2 different birth locations. Sources for both profiles leave something to be desired. This is my 7x great grandmother.
