Barbara Baughmann, daughter of Michael Baughman of Manheim Twp, Lancaster County, is named in her father's will made in 1756 as the wife of Jacob Steiner of Lebanon Twp.[1][2] They were the parents of :
In 1750, Jacob and Barbara Stoner, of Lebanon Twp, purchased a tract of 157 acres in Derry Twp, Lancaster, from William Morrison. [4]
Jacob died before 30 Dec 1752, when his estate was given into the administration of his widow, Barbara, and Michael Baughman (the elder) and Michael Baughman (the younger). [5] In March 1756 in the Lancaster County Orphan's Court, Hans Baughman, John Stoner and Christian Baughman were appointed guardians for Christian Stoner, John Stoner, Elizabeth Stoner and Magdalena Stoner, minor children of Jacob Stoner, deceased. The accounts for Jacob's estate divide his estate between the widow Barbara Stoner, Christian Stoner, eldest son, John Stoner, another son, and daughters Catharine Stoner, Elizabeth Stoner and Magdalena Stoner.
