Margaret was the daughter of Wendlen and Sarah Short Baessler.[1] She married Edward Walter in St. Joseph's Church in Macton, Ontario, when she was about 27.[2]
In 1919, Edward took over his father's farm in Peel Township, Lot 11 West, Concession 1.[3]
By 1921, Edward and Margaret had a son and a daughter.[4]They later had three more children.[5]
Margaret died at age 97 and is buried in St. Theresa Roman Catholic Cemetery, Elmira, Ontario.[6]
