Biography

Thomas was born in 1881 in Georgia, the son of Charles Baggett and Francis Williams. He passed away in 1941 in Texas, and is buried with family at Oakland Cemetery, Weatherford, Parker Co., Texas, USA. [1]

In 1900, the Baggett family lived at 212 Hanover St., Weatherford, Parker County, Texas. All members of the household were born in Georgia, except as noted. The family included Charles B. Baggett, 50, born in December 1850, a house carpenter, who owned their house without a mortgage; his wife of 24 years, Frances V., 48, b. Oct. 1852, who had had five children, four of whom were living; their children, Sallie E., 21, b. Sept. 1879; Thomas A., 19, b. Jan. 1881, a day laborer; Charles B., Jr., 15, born in Texas in Feb. 1885, in school; and John T., 12, b. Texas in Feb. 1888, in school.[2]

In 1910, the Baggetts lived at 212 Hanover St., Weatherford, Texas. The household included Charles B. Baggett, 59, a farmer; his wife of 34 years, Frances V., 55, who had had five children, four of whom were living; their children, Thomas A., 28, a farmer; and Sarah E., 30, a telephone company cashier.[3]

In 1920, they lived at 212 Hanover St., Weatherford, Texas. The family included Charles Baggett, 69, who owned their house without a mortgage; his wife Frances V., 67; and their son Thomas B., 38, a self-employed house carpenter.[4]
