Biography

Allen is mentioned in his father Thomas's 1792 will.[1]

A transcription of Allen Baggett's family bible gives his birth date as 27 March 1762 and his death date as 29 June 1823.[2]

Allen served as a private in the Tenth North Carolina Regiment Quin's Company during the Revolutionary War.[3]

Allen may have been in Wayne County, North Carolina as of the 1790 census[4], and was in Anson County, North Carolina in 1800 and 1810.[5][6]
