His full name appears to be William Rightman Bagley[1][5], but he reported his name as Rightman Bagley for the 1850 US Census[2], and he was recorded as Wrightman Bagley (same as his father) in the 1852 court case that divided up his father's land[3].
Birth
1795 - The 1850 US Census says he was 55 in 1850.[2]
1800 - The 1860 US Census says he was 60 in 1860.[4]
1790 - Many profiles for him have his birth in 1790, but with no evidence for it.
Residences
Virginia - ~1795 - 1850 Census[2] says this is where he was born (1860 US Census[4] says he was born in South Carolina, but that was probably because it was where he grew up)
Chester County, South Carolina - 1800's-1840's? - his father and family were in Chester in 1810 US Census; he apparently grew up in South Carolina, was married and had 3 children here
Wilcox County, Alabama - 1840's?-1865 - he moved his family to Alabama, and died there[2][4][5]
Death
Reported to be in 1865 on FindAGrave, but without a source.[5]

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Rightman by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Rightman:
Bagley-1352 and Bagley-1206 appear to represent the same person because: This is clearly the same person. Birth year is in question, with 1795 from the 1850 census, and 1790 from a Family Search user who got it from a book about Bagleys (no idea how rough an estimate that was). The daughter Margaret is also the same in both trees, and her daughter Marietta (Mary Etta in the other tree) is also the same. I hope to merge into these also when I add some of my own ancestors (William's brother Greenleaf, other siblings, and the parents).
They are the same person!
