Edith's obituary was published on 20 October 1933 in Bangor, Maine, United States. She died (age 74) on 19 Oct 1933 in Brewer.[4] Transcript:
"MRS EDITH A DYER: Mrs Edith A Dyer 74 widow of Henry Dyer of Lagrange died in a Brewer hospital Thursday forenoon She is survived by two nephews and two nieces: J M Drew of Greenville and E Drew of Carmel ; Mrs Clinton Hobart of Orono and Mrs Stewart Ayer of Willimantic Conn. She was a life-long resident of Lagrange. The funeral will be held to her late home at Lagrange Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock."
