Deacon Silas Tenney ... married 2 Oct 1795 Rebecca Bailey, daughter of William and Anna (Chase) of Bradford. She was born 13 May 1777.... She died aged 100 years less 62 days. Residence Bradford Massachusetts (now Groveland). After the death of Silas in 1884, his widow resided with her son William.

"Chester, N.H., 11th ult., after a brief illness, Mrs. REBECCA TENNEY, widow of Deacon Silas Tenney. The deceased was born May 13, 1773 in Groveland, Mass., and has therefore almost completed her century of existence upon earth. When near the age of 20, she consecrated herself to the Lord. Four of her surviving children are engaged in the Gospel ministry."
