Biography
Mary Bailey was born in 1720. Mary married Jacob Whitehead in 1863 in Edgecomb, North Carolina. [1]
She passed away before 1788 as that is when her husband Jacob died. After Mary died, Jacob reportedly married a third time to Hannah Hopper.

Update to this note: All of the Mary Patty Baileys have been merged. All of the children are being disconnected from her and left connected to Jacob Whitehead, Sr. One previously connected child, Mary Polly Whitehead Powell has been left with another Jacob Whitehead profile - Jacob Whitehead until more definitely information can be found for them. Mary Patty Bailey did not die in Alabama; she was still living in North Carolina when she died and was still married to her husband, Jacob Whitehead. Mary Patty was not the mother of any of his children as they did not marry until 1763 in North Carolina. She died and Jacob married a third time to Hannah Hopper - no date known for this. He then died in North Carolina in 1788.
