DNA Connections

However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Josephine:
Hi Josephine, my name is Brad Foley, and I'm the coordinator for the Atlantic Canada Team, as part of the Canada project. I've noticed that you're working on a lot of profiles for people in Newfoundland, and I'd encourage you to check out the Newfoundland project https://www.wikitree.com/index.php?title=Project:Newfoundland if you haven't already. We're trying to make sure that every Newfoundlander is proudly recognised for their place in Newfoundland history.
We'd also love to hear from you, and get your ideas and input. One great way to keep an eye on what the project is doing, is to add newfoundland to your list of followed tags. That way, you'll get a list of current Newfoundland topics on your page.
:) yeah, the census was a very suggestive reference. But definitely not for sure, that's why I left it up to your discretion. For what it's worth, I think including it, with a caveat, is exactly the right thing to do.
I know we've discussed this before, but by uploading all these images of records that contain so many people; and not classifying them, or putting them somewhere that other people can easily find them, you're creating a large amount of work for other people.
Thanks for the work you're doing, adding sources and images to the Crocker family!

Also, Josephine, maybe you know something about this that I don't---I was looking at Richard's profile (below), and tried to add marriage and children. There was a Richard Crummy married to an Amelia, who had a bunch of kids in Blackhead. And (a different?) Richard married to an Elizabeth who had a bunch of children in Ochre Pit Cove. Are these the same Richard?
You added a middle name, Halfyard, to Richard Steven Crummey, Crummey-22. I've changed this back, because I can't find any record of him having this middle name. I've but made a note of it though, and I'll be very happy to add the name, Halfyard, if you can find a source.
Thanks for adding this.
There were 2 Peckham families in Newfoundland and possibly a 3rd. One was from John Peckham and the other was from James and Harriet Peckham. Do you know which family Janette belonged to?

I'm looking forward to working with you!

Almost had one disaster but, thankfully, had not saved anything so was able to back out and then enter. All good now, I believe. Take care
