Biography

Sarah Jane Bailey, daughter of Nathaniel Bailey and Martha Emery, was born before 4 May 1764, when she was baptized at Newbury's Second Church. ^[1] She married Capt. Eli Sprague at Calais, c1787, and died at Sprague's Falls (Baileyviille) c1798 of complications from the birth of her daughter, Sarah.
