Biography

Eliza was born about 1848. She was the daughter of Wyatt Bailey and Sarah Adams. In 1850, the family was living in Jackson County, Georgia.[1] They were still there in 1860.[2] Twenty-one year old Eliza was still living in her parents home in 1870.[3] Eliza was still living with her parents at the time of the 1880 census.[4]

She married a Uriah C Brown on 26 Dec 1880 in Jackson County, Georgia.[5] By 1910, they were living in Miller in Jackson County, Georgia. Their daughter, Almu L, was in the home, as well as Eliza's widowed brother, Green Bailey, and his daughter, Minnie C Bailey, 10 years old.[6] They were still there in 1920, and had a daughter, Annie (the transcription incorrectly named her Carrie), age 30, still at home.[7]

She passed away in 1930. [8]
