Biography
John Baines was born in Lincolnshire, England.
He is the son of William Baines and Elizabeth Brown. He was baptised at St Mary, Stow, on the 18th February 1786 [1]
John Baines married Ann Hodson in 1814 in North Clifton, both were recorded as being single and of the parish of North Clifton and both signed their names. [2]
He died in 1862 [3] and was buried at St George the Martyr in North Clifton on the 7th April [4].
