Hi!

Congratulations, you've been a WikiTree member for a month! We're glad you're here. A few quick tips to help you dive in even deeper:

Check out Beyond the Basics of WikiTree for a guide on some of our more advanced features such as Projects, Categories, Merging and Templates.

We're very active on our social sites and we have an excellent blog where you'll find our monthly newsletter as well as tips, interviews with our members and guest posts from others in the genealogy community.

And we're always looking for volunteers to assist in different ways.

As always, I'm here to help!

Hi Karen, it can seem a little overwhelming at first. The 'Find' option in the top right has a selection 'People'. If you put in a surname it will list all the entries for that name. You can then refine the search. You can click on a name to view that profile. Any questions you have, feel free to ask .

Hi Karen, Thank you for volunteering to help grow our World Wide Family Tree.

You are now a member of the WikiTree Community. Please note we are trying to build one Collaborative Tree which means one profile per person. It is important to ensure no duplicates are entered as you add any Profiles to WikiTree.

Everything on WikiTree is a collaborative work in progress so don’t forget to read and sign our Honor Code. This is what keeps WikiTree a friendly and helpful community. We have many friendly members, feel free to ask if you have any questions.

Hi Karen, welcome to Wikitree

To help you find your way, the help pages and search features can be accessed through the links on the upper right hand corner of almost any page. Feel free to post a question in the G2G Forum or on a relevant profile page.

If you would like to contribute to Wikitree, please read our Honor Code carefully. It is an important part of why our community is such a friendly place. Then if you agree, click the Volunteer link to receive your ‘Volunteer’ badge, and post a comment here on your profile to tell us that you have read the Honor Code and wish to join us.

We will be very glad to welcome you to the WikiTree Community.

Currently, I am trying to research my husband's line. I am looking for anestors of Nicholas and Julia Hislop Moser in Indiana. I would like to share information I have found and get help finding more.
