Biography
Sheriff of New kent County, VA, [Note: The years --1659-1660--on the High Sheriff office won't work for this Martin if his year of birth is 1680.] He would have had to be at least 21 to hold office.
His father may have been Christopher Baker (1639-) the son of Martin Baker (1605). If so a birthyear of 1660 would be correct.[1] If his father was Martin Baker (1605) then a birth year of about 1638 could work for him being sheriff.
