Marriage
He married Hannah Jones, daughter of Robert Jones and Joanna Osgood on April 13, 1699 in Yarmouth, Barnstable County, Massachusetts.

The couple had 15 children - four children, one son and three daughters, died in infancy[6][4]
Death
John died on 20 Mar 1760 in Yarmouth, Barnstable, Massachusetts at age 87.[7]
He was buried 1760, at the Dennis Ancient Cemetery (aka South Dennis Burying Grounds or Town Hall Cemetery), 1760, South Dennis, Barnstable County, Massachusetts.[8]
The will of John Baker of Yarmouth, yeoman, is dated 13 June 1751 with a codicil dated 3 April 1756, and was proved 7 May 1760.[9]
