Baker-38253 and Baker-11402 appear to represent the same person because: clear duplicate

Baker-38119 and Baker-11402 appear to represent the same person because: as has been indicated, the sources for this person exist on Baker-11402 and the two profiles intend to represent the same person, the merge should be approved

Baker-38119 and Baker-11402 do not represent the same person because: There is no actual evidence that Baker 38119 exists. A copied phrase from the Toney Family history might suiffice to make these to women match but at the moment a merge would only serve to attach Elizabeth Calloway Toney to the family of the spouse of Baker 11402.

The issue has nothing to do with parents or data particulars. Findagrave is an UNTRUSTED SOURCE and because it's the ONLY source, there is no actual evidence that Baker-38119 even exists.

How about a quote from the Toney Family History that shows Elizabeth Callaway Toney's siblings or parents. I don't want to legitimize the Toney line by adding to Baker-11402 Yates Publishing Company is not a trusted source. Family Group sheets are not a trusted source.

The suggestion was to merge with Baker-11402, which lists several sources.

Baker-38119 and Baker-11402 appear to represent the same person because: incorrectly rejected, merge should be done and unproven parents should be marked as such. Please read through the instructions of merging to understand how to deal with the issue raised. https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:Matching_and_Merging_FAQ#What_if_the_data_or_parents_for_the_two_profiles_don.27t_exactly_match.3F

Baker-11402 and Baker-38119 do not represent the same person because: The effect of this merge is to add Elizabeth as a daughter of Mary Baker Callaway. The only source to support this idea comes from FindAGrave, which is not a trusted source. To add a child to someone is a very big step and we should make sure it's not a misstep. Please show better evidence for the idea that Elizabeth is the daugther of Mary.

I understand your concern, but, as these profiles represent the same person, they should be merged. Please read the instructions on how to handle this at https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:Matching_and_Merging_FAQ#What_if_the_data_or_parents_for_the_two_profiles_don.27t_exactly_match.3F

Baker-11402 and Baker-38119 appear to represent the same person because: same dates, and spouse

Baker-38119 and Baker-11402 are not ready to be merged because: Where is the evidence that Elizabeth Calloway Toney is the daughter of Mary Baker Callaway. Find-A-Grave is NOT a trusted source. I could make up a find-a-grave 'record' showing that I AM Mary's daughter. Nope. Needs more actual evidence. Without actual evidence this merge would add and daughter and 3 grandchildren to Thomas Calloway (husband of Mary.)

Baker-12557 and Baker-11402 appear to represent the same person because: The fact that the husbands are the same is a real indicator that the Marys are the same

Baker-12557 and Baker-11402 do not represent the same person because: The existence of Baker 11402 is based on the Sons of the American Revolution application of William Paul Graybeal, born 28 Dec 1937.

Baker-12557 and Baker-11402 appear to represent the same person because: Slightly different bio stars but the family is the same. I suggest merging and documenting issues in the bio.
