Hi,

Now that you have had a little time to try WikiTree, there are a few more features you may find useful. Ideas on what to include in a profile can be found in Styles and Standards, including some tips on writing biographies. If you need to describe an event, an heirloom or a location relevant to your research, you may like to learn about Free-Space Profiles. Lastly, sometimes you'll run into unresponsive profile managers. We have a Unresponsive Profile Managers for resolving those unfortunate situations. If you have any questions, feel free to ask via my profile page. Shayne ~ WikiTree Mentor

Make a profile page of your g/granddad and one of Henry his son. Then you can ask for help in G2G Profile (In My WikiTree pulldown at top of page) from all of WikiTree. Hope this helps. Kenneth

Baker is a common name and seems hard to trace. However, myself or the other members of WikiTree will be glad to help. I have a William Lyda Baker born in Randolph Co. Illinois. His father was Solomon Baker. Most of the Bakers in my family were born in Tennessee, USA. If I can find any connection I will let you know.

Thank you and welcome to WikiTree.

From a distant cousin in the United States, Kenneth

Thank you for volunteering to help grow our World Wide Family Tree. You are now a member of the WikiTree community. Please note we are trying to build one collaborative tree which means one profile per person. It is important to ensure no duplicates are entered as you add profiles to WikiTree.

If you need any help getting started check out the Help section or head over to the G2G forum. You might also want to check out the introductory WikiTree video that a member created.

Our Mentor Team are a friendly bunch of volunteers who will be glad to help with specific problems if you have any.

Good luck growing your branches, and thanks for offering to help with our shared tree :)

SEEKING WILLIAM BAKER & FAMILY, (b:1820' - 1830's??) father to Henry George Baker b: 1859/60 Hoxton Middlesex England, g'father to Henry George Baker b 1899 Bethnal Green Middlesex England. William (wharehouseman), was discovered as the father of Henry George Baker (b:1859/60), on his marriage certificate to Annie Deason in 1888 in Bethnal Green. The Henry George Baker b:1899, was my father. Have been looking forever!!!! Thomas & Julia Baker are therefore unlikely to be my G'gparents - tho' most factors fit.
