"Miss Baker to Marry on Feb. 6
"The marriage of a San Francisco Junior League member, Miss Betsy Ross Baker and a former University of California man, Mr. Franklin Porter Nutting, Jr., is scheduled for February 6, and will take place in Burlingame at the home of the bride-elect's cousin, Mrs. Barnaby Conrad.
"Attending the bride will be Miss Floride Hewett of Long Beach, who will be maid-of-honor for her cousin and Mrs. Paul Kirkwood Yoset Jr., maid of honor. The group of bridesmaids will include Miss Ruth Nutting, a sister of the future bridegroom; Miss Suzanne Macdonald, Miss Dorothy MacGavin, Miss Dorothy MacGavin, cousin of ... Miss Susanne Grau and Miss Anita Tarrant of Long Beach.
"Mr. John Silliman will serve as best man. He has chosen to usher, Messrs. Frank Gates of Los Angeles, and Stephen Prescott, fraternity brothers.
"On January 2, Miss Baker will go to Long Beach to be the guest of Miss Hewitt for a fortnight. En route north she will stop off at Fresno where she and her fiance are to establish their future home. Miss Baker is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Ross Baker. Her brother is Robert Livingston Baker. She is a graduate of Miss Burke's School and a member of The Spinsters and the Junior League of San Francisco.
"Mr. Nutting's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Franklin Porter Nutting and he has a sister, Miss Ruth Nutting. He is a member of the Sigma Chi fraternity at University of California."
They divorced in 1952. But it looks like they remarried on June 17, 1955 in San Mateo.
