Indiana was born about 1841 or 1842, probably in Indiana.[1] She was the daughter of John Baker and Louise Howard.
Indiana married Elijah S. Renshaw on 22 September 1860 in Golconda, Pope, Illinois.[2]
In 1870, the couple was found in Pope County, Illinois. Indiana (age 29), Elijah (age 34) and five children:[1]
Elma (age 9)
John L. (age 6)
Oskar (age 4)
Hugh A. (age 2)
Harris (age 3/12)
It appears that at least one more child was born to this couple. There is an 1879 birth record for an unnamed male child.[3]
By 1880, the family is again located in Golconda, Pope, Illinois. Another child, Frank, has been added.[4]
Indiana passed away in 1890. [5]
She was buried in Bethany Church Cemetery in Pope County, Illinois.
