He was born about 1706 in Straßberg, Sangerhausen, Saxony-Anhalt, Germany and was the son of Christina (Dillon) and George Peter Becker, Sr.
He emigrated from Germany on the ship "Loyal Judith" from Holland and arrived in North America about 1728 at age 22. [1]
He and his widowed mother [2] lived 1.5 miles south of Schoeneck, near Indian Creek, on the farm later owned by a descendant, Martin Becker.
In contrast to this 1883 book, note that the wikitree profiles would then seem to incorrectly indicate that his father and both possible mothers, died in the same approximate year of 1735.
(George) Peter Becker, Jr. first married about 1730 in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania to Leah Dubois Ferree.
In 1736 a tract of land containing 174 acres was surveyed west of Ulrich Shirk's land, and north of his land.
About 1737 he settled a tract of 50 acres of land west of Ulrich Shirk's land. This tract was later owned by Ezra Becker, a descendant of the first settler.
(George) Peter Becker, Jr. married secondly about 1739 in Pennsylvania to Charlotte O'Lay.
He became a naturalized American citizen on 27 Aug 1749 in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. [3][4]
He died on 17 Apr 1778 in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, USA and was buried at Carpenters Graveyard in Paradise Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, USA. [1]
