Biography

Lusana Baker was born on January 30, 1878, in Blue Ridge, Collin, Texas, United States. Her parents were Solomon Baker and Jane Pennington.

She married Finis Kinamon on December 05, 1895. Together they had 8 children:

  3. Perney Kinamon
  4. Eunice Kinamon
  5. Roxie Kinamon
  6. Dennie Kinamon
  7. Price Kinamon
  8. Hautence Kinamon

Lucy lived for years on her farm near Blue Ridge, TX after her husband died. She raised her granddaughter Addie Muriel Thompson. In Nov. 1966 she went to live with her daughter, Eunice at McKinney, TX. In 1967 Lucy lost her eyesight completely. A month later she reached out to pick up a cup, slipped out of her rocker and broke her hip. She was bed ridden for 3 years before she died. She died on September 14, 1970, in McKinney, Collin, Texas, United States.

On page 141 of Andrew Baker & His Descendants by Frieda Simms Nelson, we find Lusana Caldonia Baker. On her death Certificate her first name is shortened to Lucy Caldonia.
