Mary Baker was born in 1758 in Rowan, North Carolina. Her parents were Moses Baker and Barbara Byers. She married William Adams on . 6 Dec 1775 in The County of Rowan in the State Of North Carolina. Moses and Mary had at least eleven children: Jesse Adams, Samuel Adams, George Adams, Sarah (Adams) Maggard, Stephen "Shank" Adams, William Tolson Adams, Nancy (Adams) Adams, Isaac B. Adams, Moses Spencer "Smoot" Adams, Mary "Polly" (Adams) Cornett and Jane "Jennie" (Adams) Brashear. Mary passed away in 1806 in Lewis Fork, Wilkes, North Carolina, USA.
