Mary Baker was born about 1808, and was from Clifton, Gloucestershire (see Census records).

Mary Baker, spinster of St John Bedminster, married Thomas Chard, bachelor of St John Bedminster, on 29 Jan 1826 at St John Bedminster, Somerset.^[1]

In 1841 Mary Chard was resident at Cottage Court, Clifton, Bristol, age 30. Her place of birth was the City & County of Bristol.^[2]
