Biography

Elizabeth Ann Baker, Annie", was born July 1, 1862 to John Baker and Isabella (Grant) Baker in Elmsdale, Hants County, Nova Scotia.

Her Father died in 1869 and her mother remarried John Cruickshank in 1871.

At the time of the 1871 Census, they were living in Nine Mile River, Nova Scotia, however, they moved to 86 Quinpool Rd., Halifax, Nova Scotia sometime before 1881.

Annie married Albert Drysdale and they had at least 6 children-Annie,Lillie(sp),Winnifred,Gordon, Albert and Pearl.

At the time of her death was living at 21 John Street, Halifax, Nova Scotia as recorded on death registration.

She was buried February 3, 1944 in the Camphill Cemetery Halifax.
