1850 Census shows Zebadiah age 90, a farmer and born somewhere in Europe. Others on the census are Providence age 37, Thomas and Dalilah both age 12. A census remark says he was oldest in District. Campbell of Searcy County. He was on page with John Hensley age 45.
On 1 June 1840 Zebulon was resident at Searcy, Arkansas, USA[2]
The 1850 census provides the following information
Not Zebulon Baker the son of William and Elizabeth christened at Beckley in Sussex, England on 21 Nov 1762,[4] and married there on 2 Sep 1787 to Sarah Lavendon,[5] since he was buried there age 69 on 6 May 1831.[6]
Zebulun Baker, born Beckley Sussex 1762, married Sarah Lavendon 1787 Beckley. They had children James 1787, Elizabeth 1789, Sarah 1790, William 1792 and Mary 1795, all baptised Beckley. In 1822 Zebulun married Mary Piper in Hastings, and he died in 1831 in Brede and was buried in Beckley churchyard on 6 May 1831.
There does not seem to be any evidence that Zebulun Baker born in Beckley is the same person as Zebediah Zebulun Baker, who married and raised his family in North Carolina, Tennessee and Arkansas.
