Biography

Bruce Warren Baker was born on 27 Oct. 1919 at Luling, Caldwell Co., Texas, USA.[1] He appeared on the census of 21 Jan 1920 in the household of his parents, Montie R. Baker and Etta (Appling) Baker, at South Third Ave., Luling, Caldwell Co., Texas.[2] He appeared on the census of 12 April 1930 in the household of his parents at Precinct 7, Guadalupe Co., Texas.[3] He appeared on the census of 23 May 1940 in the home of his parents at Guadalupe Co., Texas.[4]

Between the 1940 census, when he was single and April 1942 Bruce married Ruth Lloyd.[5]

He began military service in the US Army on 16 April 1942 at Fort Sam Houston, Texas.[6]

He worked as an electrician.[5] He lived in 1972 at Seguin, Guadalupe Co., Texas. Bruce died on 7 Oct. 1973 at Guadalupe Co., Texas, at age 53 and was buried at Appling Cemetery, Luling, Guadalupe Co., Texas.[5] His memorial has links to those of his parents.[7]
