Biography

Joshua Baker Jr. was born Jan. 5, 1677 in Colony of Connecticut. [1] He was the son of Joshua Baker and Hannah Tongue. Joshua Baker Jr. married Mariam Hurlburt, daughter of Stephen. He settled in the North Parish of New London, where he was a farmer and carpenter. He died on 26 May1740 in North Parish, New London, Colony of Connecticut and is buried in the Raymond Hill Cemetery in Oakdale, Connecticut[1]. Will probated in New London." [2]

  7. Anna, born May 28, 1716; married Noah Hammond. Stephen, born March 17, 1719; married Elizabeth Comstock. Sarah, born May 14, 1721; married John Maples.
  8. John, born 1723; married Rachel Scovil.
  9. Asa, born 1726; married Elizabeth Abel.

Joshua was born 5 January 1677 in New London, Connecticut Colony. His parents were Joshua Baker and [7] He passed away in 1740.
