Biography

James Bald is one of twins.

James was born on 25 April 1868 in Dunbar, Haddingtonshire, Scotland. He was the son of Adam Bald (1839 - 1872) and Jane Turnbull (1843 - )^[1].

In the 1871 census James (age 3) was the son of Adam Bald in West Barns Road, Dunbar, Haddingtonshire^[2].

In the 1881 census James (age 12), Scholar, was the son of Jane Bald in Edinburgh Road, Dunbar, Haddingtonshire^[3].

In the 1891 census James (age 23), Shop Porter, was the son of Jane Buld in Main Street, Aberlady, Haddingtonshire.^[4]

In the 1901 census James (age 33), Roadman, was the son of Jane Bald in Main Street, Aberlady, Haddingtonshire.^[5]

James died in 1919 at the age of 51 years at St Giles, Midlothian^[6].
