Biography

Daniel Baldwin, son of Andrew Baldwin and Mary Hinds; born about 1775.^[1]He moved to Granville, Greene County, N.Y; and to Columbia County, N.Y. about 1801; he died in Spencertown, June 11, 1848, age 73.^[2]

He married Clarris Steward or Stewart; who died February 7, 1835, age 53.^[2]

v. Daniel A., b. 1810; lawyer; married Abbie A. Holbridge, daughter of Judge Abraham P. Holdbridge, of Spencertown; President of West Wisconsin Railway, which he built and in which he was a large owner; Baldwin, Wisconsin, named after him; died about 1878
