Daniel Baldwin, son of Andrew Baldwin and Mary Hinds; born about 1775.[1]He moved to Granville, Greene County, N.Y; and to Columbia County, N.Y. about 1801; he died in Spencertown, June 11, 1848, age 73.[2]
He married Clarris Steward or Stewart; who died February 7, 1835, age 53.[2]

ii. Mary A., b. in 1804; died unmarried 1853
iii. Charles S., b. 1806; merchant in Buffalo N.Y., where he died in 1852
iv. William A., b. 1808, married and had children
v. Daniel A., b. 1810; lawyer; married Abbie A. Holbridge, daughter of Judge Abraham P. Holdbridge, of Spencertown; President of West Wisconsin Railway, which he built and in which he was a large owner; Baldwin, Wisconsin, named after him; died about 1878
vi. Clarissa, b. 1812; married William S Davis

viii. Eliza A., b. 1816; married Wadsworth; died in 1854
ix. Frederick M., b. 1818; married Elizabeth Lindsey, of Lamoile Illinois
x. Augustus C., b. in 1820; married Mary Cook
xi. David H., born in Spencertown, Dec 21, 1823; married March 20, 1850, Pamelia J. Cook, daughter of Atwater Cook, of Salisbury, Herkimer County, N.Y.
