Biography

Francis Baldwin, son of Thomas Baldwin and Mary Beel; was born about 1715, Chester Co., Pennsylvania[1]

Francis Baldwin had 3 wives; The order or dates of his marriages is not given with the exception of his marriage in 1746 to Charity (Harlan) Hackney, widow of Joseph Hackney; and daughter of Aaron Harlan and Sarah Heald; they married in Wilmington, Delaware, in the Holy Trinity (old swedes) Church, and she dying 1768 in Frederick (now Berkeley) Co., Virginia.[1]

The names of his other 2 wives were; Innocent Bozarth; and Sarah Hackney[1]

Per the source cited by M Gray, the Francis Baldwin that married Charity was the son of Francis Sr, not Thomas.

the other source indicates that Francis, the son of William Baldwin and His first wife, Mary Beal, married Rhoda Jennings in 1775 in Frederick County VA
