Biography
Louisa Elizabeth Baldwin, the third child and third daughter of Louisa Inch and her husband William James Baldwin, was born at New Plymouth in Taranaki, New Zealand on 1st July 1857. [1]
On 26th August 1874, at the house of her parents at Omata near New Plymouth, Louisa married John (Old) Sole. Fifteen months later, however, John was killed in an accident, leaving Louisa a 27-year-old widow.
She then married John's half-brother, Thomas Sole.
