Research Notes

Hannah is his sister, not his daughter, this is his father's information.

The following source says that on 28 Nov 1689. an oath was taken regarding John Baldwin of Newark, lately deceased. This is obviously indicating a different death date! https://babel.hathitrust.org/cgi/pt?id=coo.31924104177278&view=1up&seq=45&skin=2021 Calendar of New Jersey wills / edited, with an introductory ... v.23. p. 45

There is additional related info on page 46 indicating that lands are to go to his daughter, Hannah Tichenor. Hannah is his sister, not his daughter, this is his father's information.

Does anyone have a copy of the actual will of John Baldwin....rather than just this abstract? I am very curious as to whether or not the wife references (in parentheses in the abstract) are in the actual will, or are these the conclusions of the abstractor?

Agreed that we have waited long enough for someone to come up with a source to prove that Keziah is the daughter of John. She has been removed.

Keziah is not listed as a child of either wife....what proof is that she is the daughter of John Baldwin. I have been trying to find sources, but none as to date to show this.

Wondered about the two husbands of John Baldwins .Are they the same men?

Baldwin-3383 and Baldwin-4231 appear to represent the same person because: wife is the same as well as death date, need to document, merge and investigate birth date
