Mary, the eldest of five children of Jonathan Baldwin and Mary French was born on 15 September 1596 at Billerica, Massachusetts.[1]

Mary wed William Brown (1696-1771) in 1717 at Billerica, Massachusetts. Their first five children were born at Billerica and their youngest at Tewksbury:
