Sarah, the fourth daughter and sixth child of Richard Baldwin and Phillipa Corbman was born in 1627 and baptized on 23 March of that year at St Leonard's parish, Aston Clinton near Wendover, Buckinghamshire, England.[1][2]
Marriage and Children
Sarah married Deacon Richard Lawrence, son of Thomas Lawrence (1596-1655) and Elizabeth (Unknown) by 1651at Branford, New Haven, Connecticut Colony.[3]Sarah and Richard had five children born in Branford, CT:
Eleazer Lawrence (b. 17 Jan 1651, Branford, CT; d. 1686),[4]

According to C. C. Baldwin, Sarah received a bequest from her paternal uncle, Henry Baldwin, a barrister who resided at Guilford, Surrey, England. The inheritance included 20BPS, "and to her and her heirs the tenement at East End, in Flitwick, County Bedford, devised to me by my said brother Richard" in her Uncle Henry's will dated 11 September 1661.[6]

Research Notes
There is a suggested undocumented death year of 1662 from GEDCOM. *Given that her uncle left a bequest in 1661, it is possible that Sarah returned to England to address this legacy, died while in England, and was buried in the shire of her birthplace.
There is no further information about Sarah (Baldwin) Lawrence in Branford, Connecticut, or with her husband on his move to settle at Newark, New Jersey.

Is there a reliable source connecting Sarah, daughter of Richard to the Sarah who married Richard Lawrence? I don’t see her named as Lawrence in her uncle’s will, or in Torrey (shows only first name Sarah, no last name).
Thank you
