Biography
Robert, born about 1834, was the son of Robert Baldwin and Augusta Sullivan. He married Jemima Macdougall in London, England, in 1859.[1] In 1871 they had six children. [2][3] Robert derived his income from "property in Canada."[4] Jemima died in London, England, in 1873.[5] In 1877 Robert married Elizabeth Mary Walker in Toronto.[6] In 1881 they lived in Toronto, where Robert held the position of Secretary of the Upper Canada Bible Society (1874-1885).[7][8] At the time of his death, he and Elizabeth were living at 22 Carlton St., Toronto. [9][10] He died in 1885.[11]
