Biography
Stephen Baldwin, son of Stephen Baldwin and Freelove Collins; born in Guilford, Connecticut, on Dec 13 1758; settled in Goshen, Connecticut; and married January 24, 1788, Susannah Adams, born Jan 22, 1769, daughter of Abel Adams, of Winchester, Connecticut.[1]
Stephen and his wife joined the church, Sept. 15, 1799; she died at Akron, Ohio, Sept. 29, 1848; he died of consumption, May 21, 1810.[2]
