Abraham Baldwin, son of Elisha Baldwin and Clarissa Judd; born May 7, 1792; and died July 12, 1826; graduated at Yale College, in 1820; studying Theology in Goshen, and was licensed to preach in 1822, by the North Association of Litchfield county.
He entered the service of the Vermont Missionary Society, and in 1826, his interest in the religious condition of the French population of Canada, moving to Montreal in June of 1826, where he died on July 12, 1826, unmarried.[1]
