Goodrich Family in America incorrectly attributes his name as John Belden with a marriage date of 31 OCT 1716[12] in contrast to a marriage date of 3 OCT 1716 in the Baldwin Genealogy.[13]

Included in the fraudulent Franklin Bearce "genealogy". There is no evidence that Richard Baldwin committed adultery with an Ann Warrups, and had children with anyone other than his wife, Amey Oviatt. Richard was in good standing with the church. [14] This leaves no native ancestry for any children, since the entire native heritage supposedly comes through Ann Warrups.
Although Richard Baldwin does have a son, John, b. 14 Apr 1695, there is no evidence of John marrying a Mercy Caroline. He married 1: Joanna Goodrich; and 2: Eleanor Barnes. [15] There is no evidence of that son having a daughter, named Rebecca. Any of his children wouldn't have native heritage, even if there was.
