Chester registered for the draft in World War I in Bastrop County, Texas.[1] He had blue eyes, light brown hair and was of medium stature.[1] Chester had an eye for photography which became his trade.[4][5][6] Sometime before the 1940 census, Chester married Rena Lee.[6]
He died on May 4, 1991 in Midland County, Texas.[7] Chester is buried in Oakwood Cemetery Annex, Austin (Travis County), Texas.[8][9]
