Alexander Ball was baptised on 15 Oct 1702 at Broad Blunsdon, Wiltshire, son of Edmund and Ann.[1]
Alexander was noted in the will of his grandmother Mary Ball in 1712.[2]
Alexander Ball of Highworth married Mary Walden of Lye on 28 Dec 1719 at Ashbury, Berkshire.[3]

Alexander Ball was buried on 16 Aug 1735 at Broad Blunsdon, Wiltshire..[5]
In his will made on 04 Aug 1735 and proved in 1736 he was noted as Alexander Ball of Broad Blunsdon in the parish of Highworth, yeoman.[6]
He bequeathed his four sons Alexander, Robert, John and William Ball, each of them the sum of ten pounds to apprentice them to trades and also to each of them the sum of fifty pounds when they should reach the age of twenty one. He also made reference to his eldest son being Edmund (Edmund would inherit his estate).
He gave power of authority to his wife Mary, her brother Robert Waldren and John Wells senior of Broad Blunsdon "to lett and sett or otherwise dispose of my lands tenements and hereditaments to raise such moneys to pay debts and legacys if or which is required to be done before my eldest son be of the age of one and twenty years."
His wife, Mary, was appointed Executrix.
