Biography
Capt. Billy Ball came from an old fishing family that traces it past back 300 years .He was a recognized waterman , fisherman , competitive rower and sailor William Wrenn (Cap'n Billy) Ball was born in January 1858 in Hastings, Sussex, England his father, JOHN, was 32 and his mother, Caroline, was 36. He married Lois ( Louisa ) Foord in October 1878 in his hometown. They had 13 children in 20 years. He died on 11 October 1937 in Bexhill, Sussex, UK at the age of 79.
