Mildred Gander was my grandmother and although she did go to Prince Edward Island, Canada with Mark Gander (her husband) and two children, Mildred and Ivy (my mother) the third child, Margaret, was born later in England . I understand that Margaret's father was killed during one of the great wars.

Mark Gander (my grandfather) remained in Canada and is buried on Prince Edward Island.

Mildred ( Mil) Ball was born on June 28, 1886, in Hastings, Sussex, her father, William, was 28 and her mother, Lois, was 24. She married Harry Mark Gander in 1905. They had three children during their marriage. She died in 1969 at the age of 83.
