Biography

Sarah Ball (abt 1807-abt 1888) was originally linked to James Ball (1774-abt 1863) and Mary Scoville (abt 1773-abt 1839), as their daughter, along with Emily Ball (abt 1810-abt 1825) and Polly Ball (abt 1813- ) and several other children. However, documents for these three girls, linking them to their parents, have not been located, ie., they have been removed from James, Mary and their sibling's profiles, although they are maintained as unconnected files.

Sarah was born around 27 Sept 1807 ^[1] at Sempronius, Cayuga, New York, United States, ^[2] and died around 20 Aug 1888. She is buried at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Dexter, Washtenaw, Michigan, United States, presumably where she died. Her husband, John Alley (abt 1808-abt 1862), is also buried there. ^[1] John and their marriage have not been posted at this time in WikiTree. Sarah and John had several children, in the 1860, 1870 and 1880 censuses five different children are named, ^{[3] [4] [5]} while in the New England Ball Project database, a total of 10 are listed. ^[2]
