Biography

Amos Ball was born around 29 Jul 1784, at Newfane, Windham, Republic of Vermont, and died around 24 Sep 1827, at Bristol, Ontario, New York, United States, at the age of 43. [1] He is buried at Bristol Center Cemetery, at Bristol, Ontario, New York, United States, [2] but his wife, Sally Hills, is buried elsewhere, at Reid Hill Cemetery, Medina, Ohio, United States. [3] He was the son of Samuel H Ball (abt 1742-abt 1831) and Phebe Taylor (abt 1740-abt 1814). [1] Samuel and Phebe had at least 12 children. A 13th child, Sarah, is mentioned in Familysearch.org genealogies, but no information was located for her. [4]

Amos became a "Freeman" [5] on 04 Sep 1804, at Marlboro, Windham, Vermont, United States, and married Sarah "Sally" Hills (abt 1782-abt 1851) on 27 January 1818, at Bristol, Ontario, New York, United States. [1] [6] The marriage ended with his death on 24 Sep 1827. [2] Amos and Sally had two girls, both unmarried: [6]
