Charles Arthur Ball was born about 1879 in Bendigo, Victoria, Australia, son of Mary Agnes (Mackay) Ball and Charles Arthur Ball.^{[citation needed]}

He married Clara May Lowen in 1922 in Victoria.^[1]

Charles died on 17 January 1959 in Yea, Victoria, aged 80 years.^[2][3][4] His remains were buried at Yea Cemetery.
