Frances Elizabeth Ball was born 8 May 1926 in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. She was the daughter of Frank Ball and Emily Gardner. Her mother died when Frances was only six years old.[1]
Frances married Victor Apperly 17 October 1947 in Regina. She lived her entire life within four blocks of the house she grew up in. Fran and Vic raised three sons.[1] Victor died in 1998.[1]
Frances held strong Christian beliefs and was an active member of her church. She particulary enjoyed singing in the choir.[1]
Frances Elizabeth Apperly passed away 27 July 2008 and is buried in the old Regina Cemetery with her husband and two infant children.[2]
