Biography
Sarah was born in approx 1839. Her father was John Higson Ball, a fishmonger. Her mother was Nancy Ball. She had at least two siblings, Betty or Betsy, born approx 1831/32 and James, born approx 1842. Christening record of sister Betty gives father's middle name of Higson[1]
