MANSFIELD - Marie B. Allen, 79, of Blymer Avenue died Tuesday, April 23, 1996, at Crystal Care Center after a long illness.

She was born Friday, March 16, 1917, in Williamsburg, Kentucky, to Thomas and Nora Lay Ball. A Mansfield resident for the past 49 years, she had worked for Westinghouse. She was a homemaker and a member of the AARP.

She is survived by two sons, Rick D. Allen of Mansfield and Larry Lewis of Nashville, Tennessee, and two daughters, Wanda Gonzales and Sondra Laney, both of Mansfield; one sister, Erma Locke of Mansfield; and ten grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy A. Allen, on May 8, 1989, and one daughter, Inez Lewis.

Funeral services were held at Finefrock Funeral Home on Friday, April 26, 1996, by the Rev. Al Salas. Burial was at Mansfield Cemetery, Mansfield, Richland County, Ohio.
